Our Beliefs

  • FOLLOWERS OF CHRIST
We are followers of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and we believe in the Trinity: Creator – God above us, Redeemer – God beside us and Sustainer – God within us.

  • SCRIPTURE
We believe that the Scriptures of the Old and the New Testaments contain all things necessary to salvation.
  • OUR PATH
As Anglicans we embrace the use of Scripture, reason and tradition as essential gifts to explore our relationship with God.
  • SACRAMENTS
We partake of the sacraments of Baptism and the Eucharist as commanded by Christ in Scripture.
  • EUCHARIST
We believe that Christ is present with us in the Eucharist in Scripture and in partaking of the bread of life and the cup of salvation.

  • BAPTISM
Through the sacrament of Baptism we become part of God’s family, the Church. Our Baptism empowers us and reminds us that nothing can separate us from God’s love in Christ.
  • SACRAMENTAL LIFE
In addition to the sacraments of Baptism and the Eucharist, we celebrate other sacramental rites central to the traditions of the Church like Confirmation, Ordination and Holy Matrimony.
  • PRAYER
Prayer is a practice that connects us to God and to each other.
  • FORGIVENESS
We believe in amendment of life, the forgiveness of sin, and life everlasting.

  • ALL ARE CALLED
We acknowledge that God calls all the baptized to greater diversity of membership, wider participation in ministry and leadership, and to better stewardship in God’s creation.
  • COMMUNITY
Anglican spirituality is rooted in communal daily prayer. Our way of praying is shaped by the Scriptures.
  • INCARNATION
We recognize the Incarnation as God’s decision to enter into human life and history through Jesus.
  • LOVE OF NEIGHBOR
We strive to love our neighbors as ourselves and respect the dignity of every person.
